Staple Hill Road, Fishponds, Bristol

In January 2020 we started work on our third new build development project on Staple Hill Road in Fishponds.

The scheme consists of 5 one-bedroom and 1 two-bedroom apartments on the site of a former mixed-use derelict building on a main street in Fishponds.

The development is scheduled to be completed in February 2021.  At time of writing, work is progressing well and is on target to meet the scheduled completion date.

The project is simultaneously employing five recently released prisoners on a full-time basis on the national living wage.  They are learning a variety of skills.

All the apartments have been sold ‘off-plan’ to Southwest Solon Housing Association, and we have been able to tailor the construction to meet their needs for affordable rented homes in the local area.

Property Development

We warmly welcome like-minded individuals and organisations, who would like to get involved or help us with this work. This might be:

  • Helping us to find small plots of land, with or without planning permission in place.
  • Funding for our mentoring, training and onward employment programmes.
