April 2021: Work Commences on New Projects
We are pleased to announce that works has started on 2 new build development projects in Knowle West and Brislington.
Tavistock Road, Knowle West
The scheme consists of a block of 12 one and two bedroom new build apartments to be constructed on the site of a former boxing gym and car park in Knowle West. This will be one of Bristol Together’s most ambitious projects and will employ 5 recently released prisoners at any one time on the build phase, over a 15–18-month period. Demolition work has already started at the site and is progressing well.
The Crest/ Lodway Road, Brislington
This is a development of 6 new homes (mix of houses and flats) on a brown field site in Brislington. We will employ and train 5 recently released prisoners on the construction over a 12–14-month period. Work began in March and will continue through to about April of 2022.
