The scheme consists of 5 one-bedroom and 1 two-bedroom apartments on the site of a former mixed-use derelict building on a main street in Fishponds.

The development was completed between January 2020 and March 2021.

The project simultaneously employed five recently released prisoners on a full-time basis on the national living wage.  During their time on the project they developed a wide range of skills.

All the apartments were sold ‘off-plan’ to Brighter Places (formerly Southwest Solon Housing Association) for affordable rented homes in the Fishponds area and were completed on time and to a high standard.

We warmly welcome like-minded individuals and organisations, who would like to get involved or help us with this work. This might be:

• Helping us to find small plots of land, with or without planning permission in place.
• Funding for our mentoring, training and onward employment programmes.
• Partnering with us on construction projects.
